My name is Stephen Knapper, a UK-based jewellery maker and designer passionate about creating meaningful, handcrafted jewellery. For over 27 years, I’ve been creating jewellery with the belief that jewellery should mean something personal to the wearer and be worn as an extension of your identity and personality.
With a love for different cultures, symbolism, travel, history, the beauty of nature, and human connection, the collections each take inspiration from themes that are important to me and play a big part in my life.
Craftsmanship
My journey in the world of jewellery began in 1998 when I began working with my father. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of making jewellery for renowned British jeweller's including H.Samuel, F.Hinds, Ernest Jones, and London based jewellery designer Wright and Teague. These decades of experience have given me a deep respect and understanding for traditional craftsmanship and the storytelling power of jewellery.
I bring together those years of skill and learning into a brand that’s personal, and reflective of the jewellery I create.
Throughout my career, ethics and sustainability have always been very important to me. All of the gemstones and gold and silver I use are responsibly and ethically sourced from British based businesses, with recycling the metals playing a major part of the making process.
